Meditation styles include ‘Mindfulness of Breathing’, ‘Metta Bhavana’ (Sanskrit: ‘The Cultivation of Loving Kindness’), Vipassana (Insight), Just Sitting
Visualisation and body awareness. The idea of the process of meditation is to develop insightfulness and integrate this within our daily activity.
The Centre offers regular meditation classes, all days and times are viewable on our timetable.
Vipassana Retreat
Bodhiyoga teaches techniques of asana, pranayama, and meditation that lead to insight (Vipassana). The system is not austere and uses body movement and deep relaxation as well as sitting. Vipassana is a natural expression of meditation.
